What you see here for sale is a VERY RARE FIND an Original Unrestored Rust Free Baby Blue (yes I know it looks white in photos but its definitely Blue and all Original Paint too) 1968 Ford Torino GT Hardtop - Factory 390 FE Big Block Auto & 9" Diff
It is a Rust Free and Real Nice Straight Bodied 1968 Torino GT 2 Door Hardtop Formal Roof
I brought this car in Mission Viele California which is a High Dollar Address in Sunny Dry California with a nice dry low humidy Climate - its previous Owner was in the Air Force and he was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in High Dessert of California and he brought it from the Original Owner who lived in Palmdale and Brought the Car from Lancaster Ford and I even have all the Original Owners Manual and Service Booklet - the car never left the Inland Empire of California and still has the Original Black Number Plates on the car - so this car might look rusty in photos it all just surface stuff its picked up mainly on way over in container - but there no real rust in the whole car its been up in the High Dessert all its life - the high heat has cracked the paint on the top surfaces and the Vinyl Top is long gone - but you can see what you are getting !!
It runs and drives and sounds great with a pair of New Flowmaster Mufflers on it - It will need to be checked thru in the brakes and suspension department for sure
Its still a project car but a bloody easy one - its a very rare car with Factory 390 Big Block Motor, C6 Auto Transmission and 9" Diff and has Power Steering -
The 2nd Owner had the Motor Rebuilt in 2006 - when it had 97,000 miles on the clock - it has done 105,000 now - so motor hasnt done any work since rebuilt - they bored it +10 Over, it had a Competion Cams FB 268H High Energy Cam Fitted - it was also fitted with an Edelbrock Alloy 4 Barrel Intake and New Edelbrock Carburettor as well as matching Edelbrock Chrome Valve Covers and Air Cleaner - and also just fitted this year with a new alloy radiator - these are the only things that arent original on the car and I have the original Intake Manifold that can go with the car.

This is a Rare find in Australia a US Model 1968 Torino Formal Roof and its a Genuine GT too !!
It Can be Registered in all States a Left hand Drive - I have Import Approval Permit etc .
The Body has Real Nice Good Straight Panels for the most part - its got a few dents on Right Hand Door, Right Front Guard and Left Rear Guard and will still need some work here and there - before painting - but its not rusty
All the Stainless Moulds and Bumpers are in Great Conditio- It is a Factory GT Car with Genuine Set of Rivetted 12 Slot Wheels and GT Caps & Bands and even still has the Original Spare in Excellent condition along with Jack and Tools etc
All the Glass is Real Nice and rolls up and down etc
The Interior will need a re-doing for sure the front seat has some tears in it - and the Dash Pad is Fried - but I do have a nice used one that comes with the car
Its getting impossible to find almost Rust Free 1968 Cars these days anywhere - Let alone a real cool looking & rare Factory Torino GT - Seats 6 full Sized People will make great Family Sized Summer Cruiser
